Join Our Team: Lighting Service Technician Wanted!

Are you passionate about audio-visual technology and lighting systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Lighting Service Technician to join our dynamic team!

The role will be on sites in London mainly or at the warehouse / offices in Wimbledon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake proactive and reactive service visits for maintenance at client premises
  • Lead and supervise large scale lighting equipment services
  • Carry out onsite repairs and bench repairs of client site equipment as required
  • Maintain accurate reports of site visits including maintenance and/or remedial or advisory work
  • Provide telephone and email support for technical questions for equipment and systems
  • Ensure all equipment is serviced in line with safety and electrical legislation
  • Be physically able to lift 15Kg, climbing stairs and ladders, working at height, squatting and low-level work required too.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive operational and technical knowledge of complex lighting systems
  • This include but is not limited to moving lights, LED fixtures, lighting consoles, follow spots, installed and touring dimmers, smoke and FX and processors
  • Solid understanding of DMX and associated network control systems
  • Good understanding of AMX/ DALI lighting systems would be an advantage
  • Ability to program and re-program lighting consoles
  • Excellent fault finding skills
  • Good soldering skills
  • BS7909 or other electrical qualifications
  • Experience in PAT / ISITEE desirable
  • Ability to work at height
  • Currently PASMA, ECS or IPAF desirable
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
