Video Content Creator - 2 year FTC

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Digital Content Creator to join our client's team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content across all areas of the company, including marketing, communications, development, and commercial activities. This is a dynamic role that involves storyboarding, filming, and editing content to engage audiences across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce in-house video content for all areas of the company.
  • Work across departments, showcasing business activities, including marketing, communications, development, learning & participation.
  • Storyboard, film, and edit short-form video content.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes and rehearsal footage, as well as photography for other departmental needs.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and channel optimization.
  • Collaborate with freelancers and agencies for larger projects.
  • Repurpose content for various audiences and digital platforms.
  • Monitor video content performance and apply data insights to optimize strategy.
  • Support social media content planning with the Social Media Manager.
  • Perform sound recording and basic editing for video interviews and performance videos, working with the Sound department.
  • Contribute creative ideas, stay updated on industry trends, and ensure brand consistency.
  • Organize and maintain the digital content archive and video equipment.
  • Travel to Manchester as needed for specific project work.
  • Some out-of-hours and weekend work required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Expertise in photography and videography, including the use of professional equipment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a strong portfolio showcasing video projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
  • Solid understanding of digital content creation best practices for online platforms.

Desirable:

  • A degree in media production or a related field.
  • Experience in video/audio interviews and editing.
  • Passion for storytelling and interest in the arts.

Location: London, hybrid

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)

Contract: 2 years
