Senior Claims Executive

Partnering with a leading Lloyds Broker that is currently looking for a Senior Claims Executive to join their International Property Claims team in the London Office (hybrid). The purpose of the role is to assist the International Property Claims team due to an increased workload.

Main Duties:

  • Handle claims from cradle to grave
  • Act as key point of contact between clients and insurers
  • Deal with complex claims effectively
  • Work closely with clients daily
  • negotiate with markets to ensure best outcome is achieved for the client
  • Create comprehensive claims documentations and deal with claims and settlements
  • Present claims to Underwriters while dealing with any queries that arise
  • Maintain any ongoing delegated authority contracts appropriately and cost effectively
  • Investigates and resolves queries from clients
  • Act as a point of referral for junior staff

Essential Skills Required:

  • Previous experience within a Claims handling role
  • Strong understanding of Insurance
  • Experience handling International Property Claims
  • Excellent knowledge of the claims handling process
  • Strong IT skills

Desirable:

  • Good organisation skills
  • Progression towards Cert CII
