About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Pest Control Officer to join our team in Camden. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the health and safety of residents and the local environment by delivering effective pest control services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Survey sites and premises to assess levels of infestation from rats, mice, and insects.
  • Determine the most appropriate treatment methods and establish the required frequency of applications.
  • Safely apply rodenticides and other pest control measures, ensuring all materials are removed at the end of treatment.
  • Collect and dispose of rodent bodies following approved procedures.
  • Recommend further remedial works and preventative measures in conjunction with treatment programmes.
  • Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including the application and removal of products from the poison store.

Essential Requirements:

  • A professional qualification in pest control, such as:
  • Royal Society for Public Health Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management, or
  • British Pest Control Association Level 2 in Pest Management, or equivalent.
  • A valid and full UK driving licence with no major convictions.
