We are looking for an Experienced Pest Control Technician for a 3-month contract in Southwark, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, with potential overtime for call-outs.

Experienced Pest Control TechnicianSouthwark3month contract Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (One day per week until 5 PM, overtime available for call-outs) 36 hours per week£17 per hourWe are seeking an Experienced Pest Control Technician to manage pest infestations, implement control measures, and provide prevention solutions. This role requires expertise in identifying pests, assessing infestation levels, and applying safe and humane treatment methods in line with The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) Code of Practice.Experienced Pest Control Technician Key Responsibilities:

Survey properties to assess pest infestations and recommend preventive measures.
Apply effective treatments, including traps, deterrents, pesticides, and proofing techniques.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and use of pesticides, complying with COSHH regulations.
Conduct proofing and prevention work to mitigate future infestations.
Collect and transport stray dogs, arranging for kennelling or rehoming as required.
Implement pigeon control measures, including proofing and cleaning affected areas.
Maintain and secure vehicles, tools, and pest control materials.

What We're Looking For:

BPCA Level 2 Qualification or higher (essential).
Proven experience in pest control, including identification and treatment.
Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of pesticides.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Ability to work independently and respond to emergency call-outs when needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
