Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team on a social housing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems within residential properties. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of gas appliances and systems.

Diagnose and repair faults in gas appliances and systems.

Install new gas appliances and systems in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with gas safety regulations.

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with tenants and clients.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Respond to emergency callouts and provide timely solutions.

Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications in gas engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3, ACS qualifications).

Valid Gas Safe registration.

Proven experience in gas appliance installation, maintenance, and repair.

Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Full UK driving license.
