Job Details:
  • Job Title: Oncology Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
  • Location: East London - NHS Hospital service
  • Duration: 5-6 months
  • Schedule: 4 or 5 weekdays per week, 9:00 AM - 5:15 PM (45-minute lunch)
  • Start Date: April 2025
  • End Date: September/October (subject to extension)
  • Rate of Pay: £30 - £38 per hour (via PAYE direct engagement)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as an Oncology Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients undergoing cancer treatment. In this role, you will:? Perform oncology screening and clinical pharmacy duties? Ensure safe and effective use of chemotherapy medications? Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care? Offer specialist advice on oncology medications and treatment regimens? Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:? Prior NHS or private hospital oncology experience? GPhC registration as a pharmacist? Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills? The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team? A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring availability Monday to Friday, with some flexibility where possible. The contract is for 5-6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
