We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 7 Locum Pharmacist to join our team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive NHS hospital environment, providing essential pharmaceutical services to medical wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to medical wards within an acute NHS hospital setting.
  • Validate TTAs (To Take Away) promptly and accurately.
  • Undertake comprehensive medicines reconciliation to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
  • Offer expert clinical advice to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) regarding medication management.
  • Support and educate colleagues and patients regarding safe and effective use of medications.
Requirements
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
  • Significant experience working within medical wards in acute NHS hospitals.
  • Proven ability to validate TTAs, undertake medicines reconciliation, and provide clinical advice to the MDT.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital-based pharmacy practices and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
