We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 7 Locum Pharmacist to join our team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive NHS hospital environment, providing essential pharmaceutical services to medical wards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical pharmacy services to medical wards within an acute NHS hospital setting.
Validate TTAs (To Take Away) promptly and accurately.
Undertake comprehensive medicines reconciliation to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
Offer expert clinical advice to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) regarding medication management.
Support and educate colleagues and patients regarding safe and effective use of medications.

Requirements

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
Significant experience working within medical wards in acute NHS hospitals.
Proven ability to validate TTAs, undertake medicines reconciliation, and provide clinical advice to the MDT.
Strong knowledge of hospital-based pharmacy practices and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
