Trident Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oncology Pharmacist to join renound team on a long-term locum basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the management and delivery of oncology pharmacy services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prepare and dispense chemotherapy and other oncology medications.
  • Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about medication regimens and potential side effects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Extensive experience in oncology pharmacy.
  • Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and oncology medications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
