Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ACT Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s dynamic team at an NHS Hospital in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for community-experienced ACTs or newly registered ACTs looking to enhance their skills in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage inventory and stock control of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in patient medication reviews and consultations.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
  • Registered as an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in your role.
  • Ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
