Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)

Rates: £18ph-£24ph

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s team at a leading private hospital in West London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across various wards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the clinical team in the management of medicines on the wards.
  • Conduct medication reconciliation for patients at admission and discharge.
  • Review and update medication records and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Provide guidance to nursing staff regarding medication administration.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting medication-related incidents.
  • Participate in patient education regarding their medications as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and relevant regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly with ward-based experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medicines management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
