Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6) – Central London

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Central London for an exciting locum opportunity. If you are looking to contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, this role is for you!

Contract Details:

  • Position: Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician
  • Location: Central London
  • Hourly Rate: £18 - £27 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with 30-minute lunch break)
  • Duration: Start ASAP, ongoing locum position
  • Contract Length: Flexible (3-6 months)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Accuracy Checking in the dispensary to ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications
  • Supporting Medicines Management (MMT) duties across the hospital
  • Contributing to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services to patients
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimise medication therapy
  • Ensuring compliance with NHS standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • GPHC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous experience in Accuracy Checking (ACT) and Medicines Management (MMT)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
