We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialist Physiotherapist to join one of the unplanned care teams within a Trust in London. This role will primarily work under the Rapid Response pathway but may require the candidate to work across other pathways when needed.

Client pay mechanism: Direct Engagement only.

Description:

The successful candidate needs to be a registered Physiotherapist, ideally with advanced clinical skills, significant knowledge, and experience in the clinical care of adults and older people in a range of healthcare settings. Candidates should be self-motivated with strong organizational skills and able to make clinical decisions autonomously as required.

As a clinician, you will use your clinical expertise, levels of judgment, discretion, and decision-making to support patients at home, improve patient outcomes, and reduce the likelihood of unnecessary admissions to the hospital. You will be required to complete holistic assessments, provide appropriate interventions, and have knowledge of community services to plan the ongoing care of patients.

Skills:

  • Experience post-registration as a Band 5 Physiotherapist.
  • Experience working at a junior level in a wide range of specialized clinical areas, including outpatients, neurology, rehabilitation, orthopedics, and respiratory.
  • Ability to apply core Physiotherapy skills across a range of clinical conditions within a client-centered, goal-setting framework.
  • Good communication and report writing skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic IT skills - Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Experience teaching junior staff, students, and peers in an in-service training setting.
