Respiratory Physiologist (Band 7) – East London

Hunter AHP are currently seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Physiologist to join a dynamic team in East London. This is a Band 7 position, offering a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and thriving healthcare environment.

Position: Respiratory Physiologist - Band 7
Location: East London
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic respiratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to spirometry, plethysmography, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), arterial blood gases (ABGs), and bronchial challenge tests.
  • Interpret results and provide expert recommendations to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide comprehensive reports and contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
  • HCPC registered Respiratory Physiologist with a Band 7 (or equivalent) background.
  • Significant experience in performing advanced respiratory diagnostics and interpreting test results.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, and ILD.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
