Description

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance the business' operational efficiency.
  • Support and develop daily logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems.
  • Develop and manage relationships with logistics service providers.
  • Analyse, report and optimise logistics performance metrics to senior management.
  • Identify potential logistics or operational problems and devise preventative strategies.
  • Plan the future distribution network strategy.
  • Ensure logistics adherence to laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
  • Develop and optimise logistics budget and expenditures.

Profile

A successful Logistics Network Development Manager should have:

  • Proficiency in using planning tools, logistics software or transport management systems.
  • Expert level excel experience.
