Our client, a dynamic and growing tech company, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee and coordinate the movement of their products from Asia into Europe and North America. This is a pivotal role in ensuring seamless, efficient, and timely deliveries to their global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end coordination of international logistics operations, ensuring products are transported from Asia to Europe and North America, whilst maintaining efficient route plans to optimise logistics operations.
  • Prepare shipping documents and monitor deadlines.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and customs agents to track and monitor shipments, resolving any logistical issues.
  • Regularly report on logistics progress and escalate any critical issues to senior leadership, ensuring transparency in logistics operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, and customer support) to ensure smooth communication and aid timely product delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with expertise in international freight forwarding.
  • Strong attention to detail in handling documentation and shipment tracking to ensure high accuracy and quality.
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Working knowledge of customs regulations and import / export procedures.
