Plumbing Trade Counter Assistant

A new builders merchant branch is opening in Tottenham in April 2025, offering a wide range of plumbing and building supplies. An exciting opportunity is available for a Plumbing Trade Counter Assistant to join the team and support the successful operation of the plumbing trade counter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and assistance to customers on plumbing products and materials.

• Accurately process orders, handle invoicing, and manage customer payments.

• Replenish stock on the shop floor and support regular stock counts.

• Assist with the receipt and dispatch of deliveries.

• Handle telephone inquiries efficiently, maintaining clear and professional communication.

• Respond positively and promptly to customer needs and requests.

Role Requirements:

• Available to work 48.5 hours per week, with shifts between 6am-5pm Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of plumbing materials.

• Confident, approachable, and able to provide excellent customer service.

• Capable of working effectively as part of a busy and supportive team.

• Able to prioritise tasks under pressure and work independently when needed.
