Facilities Assistant, Multi-trades candidate required to work Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with flexibility to start earlier or finish later. This position is paying an annual salary of £32,013. A candidate with good general plumbing experience is desirable.

Candidates will ideally have a clean driving licence to use the pool van if required to collect materials, however, non-drivers will be considered.

Duties:

  • Carrying out general maintenance and maintenance projects
  • Assist in the supervision of external contractors
  • Assist in the supervision of regular audits
  • Carry out fire safety procedures when required
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments
  • Undertake necessary repairs to maintenance and catering equipment
  • All other required multi trades tasks

Experience required:

  • Proven experience in facilities, maintenance, repairs, multi-trades
  • Plumbing experience if highly desirable
  • Able to manage multiple and complex matters
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
