Job Title: Commercial Plumber Location: South East England Job Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £46,000Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm (40 hours) Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Plumber to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, as well as handling small reactive maintenance tasks. This role requires a professional with experience in both installation and reactive work in commercial settings.Key Responsibilities:*Installation: Perform installation of plumbing systems in commercial properties, including but not limited to piping, fixtures, water systems, and drainage systems.*Reactive Maintenance: Respond to and resolve small plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, and minor repairs, in a timely manner.*System Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular inspections and tests of plumbing systems to ensure they meet building codes, safety standards, and functionality.*Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing issues quickly and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime for clients.*Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople (electricians, HVAC technicians, etc.) on large projects to ensure efficient workflow.*Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.*Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any further recommendations for system improvements or maintenance.Qualifications:*NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent certification*CSCS card *Driver's license *Minimum of 4 years' experience in both installation and maintenance (not including apprenticeship)*Be willing to get a DBS check Skills:Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and ability to read blueprints and technical drawingsAbility to troubleshoot and solve plumbing issues quickly and efficientlyExcellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasksWillingness to work in various commercial environments, including construction sites, offices, and industrial settings.Benefits:*Company vehicle or Vehicle Allowance (after 3 months' probation period) *Pension scheme*Overtime opportunitiesHow to Apply:If you are a qualified plumber with experience in commercial installations and reactive maintenance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting permanent role.
