Our client, a leading player in the beauty industry, is seeking an experienced Advocacy Manager to join their team temporarily. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire marketing team to develop brand and product social and communications strategies. This is a dynamic role that requires strong interpersonal and organisational skills to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire marketing team to develop brand and product social and communications strategies.
Recruit and manage influencer talent, building relationships with agents, and activating paid partnerships (supported by media).
Identify new rising talents and most brand-relevant creators, analyse their KPIs, and advise on high-impact partnerships.
Secure coverage against KPIs across social and press platforms, ensuring a substantial year-on-year increase to drive brand awareness and advocacy/engagement.
Manage the monthly brand and product stories to brief influencer talent for content creation and pitch editorial features.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with print & digital media and creators within the UK, building towards editor relationships.
Manage the relationships with Key Clients, ensuring your team is strengthening relationships to secure top partnerships for strong press coverage.
Manage day-to-day press inquiries and proactively pitch press stories where needed.
Establish high-performing influencer activations on new and existing social platforms.
Lead the management of regular events, leveraging key client partnerships to drive the professional difference.
Be an expert on performance measurement tools within Comms/Advocacy, uncovering insights via analytics.

Requirements:

Passion for beauty and a natural interest, knowledge, and experience of working with Press & talent (e.g., influencer communities) and knowledge of how to drive social engagement.
Previous experience working in Beauty PR or digital/social engagement with existing influencer, agent, and press contacts.
Experience running Press/Influencer events to drive coverage/social buzz.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong creativity, written and verbal skills with an eye for detail.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Team player, collaborative spirit, and solution-oriented mindset.

The position offers an hourly rate of 30.21 and is based in Hammersmith and Fulham, London. The office is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from White City train station, and parking is available nearby at Westfield London Car Park A and B with a walking distance of 10 minutes.
