OverviewAn organisation responsible for managing and promoting publicly owned forests is looking to recruit a Spending Review Business Case Co-ordinator to coordinate CDEL bids.
- Assemble the list of core Spending Review bids, many of which focused on estates and infrastructure
- Review proposed list of bids and ascertain how to 'bundle' them into acceptable business cases for funding, in line with government missions and DEFRA priorities.
- Work with subject-matter experts in the business to draw together the facts into an acceptable business case format for DEFRA.
- Oversee submissions for match funded projects.
- Seek to incorporate match funding within appropriate parts of the wider SR bid.
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience developing and producing complex business cases.
- Working knowledge of Green Book Principles/ Five Case Model.
- Fundamental understanding of how central government/ UK civil service operates
