MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Compliance & Development Consultant for a leading insurance company. Location: Home based with some travel to London & surrounding areas (all travel costs can be expensed).

The Role

The Compliance & Development Consultant will be responsible for developing new business in core areas and delivering compliance support services to clients. This role offers a competitive salary, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work with industry-leading experts.

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance & Development Consultant:

  • Manage new business targets and provide regular performance reports
  • Conduct consultancy visits, meetings, and external audits
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and professional bodies
  • Contribute to budget forecasts and attend senior leadership team meetings
  • Resolve technical queries within appropriate timeframes

Required knowledge and experience for the Compliance & Development Consultant role:

  • ACII qualification (preferred)
  • Experience working with Insurance Brokers/MGAs
  • Regulatory Audit experience (desirable)
  • Sound knowledge of General Insurance products and FCA regulatory requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influential skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
