What you'll do:

As a Compliance Analyst/Manager in Payments, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our client's payment activities operate in full accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will provide invaluable advice on these requirements, particularly when it comes to developing compliance needs for new business propositions. Your expertise will also be crucial in developing, documenting, and maintaining policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will play a key role in promoting compliance awareness within the business through training initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include preparing reports for internal governance committees, reviewing risk records, policy breaches and matters for escalation. You will also collaborate closely with business leads to gather relevant information in response to requests from auditors and regulators.

  • Ensure payment activities operate in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements by monitoring the compliance of business activity
  • Provide advice on regulatory requirements, including in the development of compliance requirements for new business propositions
  • Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Provide compliance awareness and training to the business
  • Prepare reporting to internal governance committees
  • Review, challenge and approve risk records, policy breaches and matters for escalation
  • Work with business leads to identify and collate relevant information to respond to requests for information from auditors and regulators

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Compliance Analyst/Manager role brings a minimum of four years' generalist compliance experience within financial services. You have worked either directly in risk and compliance or within a financial regulatory body or consultancy practice. You possess a good understanding of the Payment Services Regulations 2017 and FCA regulations. Your excellent team player skills, combined with your strong interpersonal abilities, make you a valuable asset in any team setting. You have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload and manage various tasks simultaneously.
