My client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to join a dynamic compliance team. This is a hybrid 12 month contract, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from their central London office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring their operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, contributing to their ongoing commitment to ethical practices and regulatory excellence.

Description

  • Monitor and assess compliance with industry regulations (FCA, PRA) and internal policies.
  • Conduct internal audits and assist with regulatory reporting.
  • Identify compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and update compliance documentation, ensuring all policies are up to date with the latest regulatory changes.
  • Provide training and support to staff on regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Support the wider compliance team with ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Liaise with external regulators and stakeholders.

Profile

  • Proven experience in a compliance role, ideally within financial services, credit ratings, or a similar regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA and PRA regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
