As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the compliance function and ensuring that the firm adheres to all relevant regulatory and legal requirements. You will work closely with various teams across the firm, providing guidance on compliance matters, monitoring internal policies, and mitigating risks to protect the business and its clients.

Description

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that the firm is in full compliance with relevant financial regulations and global standards.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and address any areas of concern.
  • Provide training and support to staff on regulatory changes and internal compliance requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that the business responds promptly to any changes.
  • Assist in preparing reports for senior management, regulators, and auditors.
  • Monitor internal transactions and processes for compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and other financial crime regulations.
  • Support the development of compliance systems and automated processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a compliance role within a financial services firm or consultancy (desirable)
  • Knowledge of UK and EU financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulations to a business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance matters to non-technical teams.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and compliance issues.
  • Experience with compliance management systems or software is an advantage.
