Compliance and Procurement Officer - Rough Sleepers

As a Compliance and Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality housing services to rough sleepers by acquiring, managing, and ensuring the compliance of private sector properties. You will work closely with landlords, housing providers, and contractors to maintain property standards and ensure compliance with legal regulations, including the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and Gas Safe requirements. Your role will involve conducting property inspections, managing landlord relationships, overseeing lease renewals and re-lets, and ensuring that all properties meet the necessary safety and quality standards.

You will also maintain accurate records of compliance, provide data reports to key stakeholders, and liaise with internal teams to facilitate the placement of rough sleepers into safe and suitable accommodation. Strong communication and negotiation skills will be essential in working with landlords, tenants, and service users to resolve any issues and ensure a smooth housing process.

This role requires experience in property procurement, tenancy management, and compliance monitoring within the housing sector.
