The RoleAs a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the business remains compliant with evolving regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Head of Compliance, you will provide expert advice and support on a range of compliance matters, with a particular focus on:
- Sanctions - Conducting due diligence, advising on sanction risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations.
- AML & Financial Crime - Supporting AML framework development, transaction monitoring, and KYC processes.
- Compliance Advisory Projects - Advising business teams on regulatory requirements, policy updates, and best practices.
- Horizon Scanning - Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing their impact on the business.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Insurance industry experience - Essential, ideally within a brokerage or Lloyd's market firm.
- Legal background - Strongly preferred, either from private practice or in-house.
- Regulatory knowledge - Solid understanding of FCA requirements, sanctions regimes, and AML regulations.
- Analytical mindset - Ability to assess compliance risks and provide pragmatic solutions.
- Strong communication skills - Capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
