MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Business Partner for a leading insurance firm. The Role

As a Compliance Business Partner, you'll be the primary contact for compliance support across various business areas. You'll guide leaders in mitigating conduct risk, maintain compliance policies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Business Partner:

  • Provide practical compliance advice and support to all departments
  • Review Delegated Authority Agreements and monitor adherence
  • Maintain and update compliance policies to align with regulatory obligations
  • Deliver compliance training to staff at all levels
  • Oversee compliance activities for acquired firms during integration

Required knowledge and experience for the Compliance Business Partner role:

  • Strong working knowledge of FCA regulations, including ICOBS and SMCR
  • Practical understanding of compliance frameworks in an insurance context
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver compliance training
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Desirable: Recognised industry accreditation (e.g., CII/ICA) or working towards it
