MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Business Partner for a leading insurance firm in the Lloyd's Insurance Market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive compliance excellence in a growing environment, supporting business leaders and employees in meeting regulatory standards.

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000

Location: London - Hybrid (with some travel to Hampshire)

The Role

The Compliance Business Partner will be the primary contact for compliance support across various business areas. This role involves guiding leaders in risk mitigation, maintaining compliance policies, and promoting a culture of regulatory adherence and customer-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Business Partner:

  • Provide compliance advice and support to all departments
  • Review and monitor Delegated Authority Agreements
  • Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures
  • Deliver compliance training to staff at all levels
  • Manage conflicts of interest and support acquisition integration

Required knowledge and experience for the Compliance Business Partner role:

  • Strong working knowledge of FCA regulations, including ICOBS and SMCR
  • Practical understanding of compliance frameworks in insurance
  • Broker experience - ideally from a Property background
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Desirable: Recognised industry accreditation (e.g., CII/ICA) or working towards it
