Compliance Officer - Financial Services

Location: South West London (Hybrid, 3 days in office)

As they continue to grow, they are now looking for a Risk and Controls Officer to help maintain compliance excellence and uphold their outstanding reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews across all business areas, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Investigate complaints and ensure that all cases meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide structured feedback to mortgage and protection consultants, identifying trends and necessary improvements.
  • Support adviser inductions and ongoing training, ensuring compliance best practices are upheld.
  • Work closely with the risk and compliance team to monitor emerging regulatory changes and update company policies accordingly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, mortgage advisers, and protection teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • CeMAP or CII MP qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser, Quality Case Checker, or Compliance Officer.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a compliance-focused role.
