MERJE are delighted to be supporting this global quantitative hedge fund in their search for a Compliance Officer to join its Legal & Compliance team in London. 

This role offers the chance to work closely with investment professionals and legal teams across global offices, ensuring compliance with UK and European regulations. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, you’ll be involved in developing policies, advising on regulations, and enhancing compliance infrastructure.

Who We're Looking For:

  • 5–10 years in regulatory compliance, ideally within an alternative investment firm or hedge fund.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and FCA regulations, particularly MiFID.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
  • Ability to manage projects and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and strategic thinker with a track record of initiative.
  • Strong academics essential
