As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Client Details

My client is a leading foreign exchange (FX) company based in the heart of Central London, providing a wide range of currency solutions to a diverse client base. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a talented and motivated Compliance Officer to join their team on a 6-month contract, with a potential extension based on business needs.

Description

  • Monitor and review daily transactions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of compliance procedures and controls.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as needed.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and advise the company on necessary adjustments.

Profile

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services or FX industry.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
