Our client, a well-known Recruitment firm, are looking to hire a Compliance Officer to join their team! If you have previous experience within an office environment and are looking to be part of a fast-paced and close-knit team, then this might be the role for you:ROLE: Compliance Officer WHERE: City of London WHEN: Monday - Friday / 08:30 - 17:30 / hybrid working SALARY: £28,000 - £30,000 per annumWhat you'll do:
  • Right to Work checks for all temps
  • Conducting referencing for all registered temporary candidates
  • Action external reference requests as required
  • Compliance packs for clients as required (full referencing, education check, right to work, proof of address, forms to sign etc, using Giant)
  • Data deletion requests
  • Create and update any training material for new joiners and recaps for existing employees if there have been any changes to government legislation
  • Use external checking service to create, track and chase background checks
  • Reconcile monthly charge reports to share with accounts
  • Chasing supplier credit notes
  • Purchasing Trust ID credits, raising a PO, storing in folders
  • Update and maintain supplier pricelists
  • Ensure all consent forms for references are sent and obtained within required timeframes
  • Research and ops compliance supporting with supplier lists and GDPR related issues
  • Audit preparation for annual/bi annual audits
  • Act as the Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and safeguard personal data
  • Run GDPR training for fellow employees
What you need:
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a commercial awareness
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure whilst remaining clam and composed
  • Confident phone manner and face to face communication
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills, with forward thinking mentality
  • Strong problem-solving skills
