Compliance Officer | Financial Services | London/WFH | £40 - 50,000 (doe)

Finitas are supporting a growing financial services business in their search for a Compliance Officer to join their team. Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will have an array of responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Providing advice and guidance to first line teams on regulatory matters.
  • Carrying out regular compliance reviews of the company's policies and procedures.
  • Preparing compliance monitoring reports.
  • Conducting file audits and call reviews.
  • Collating and updating Compliance Registers.
  • Identifying and investigating potential financial crimes such as fraud and money laundering.
  • Handling customer complaints.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 2 years compliance experience within financial services, preferably in secured lending/mortgages.
  • Strong complaint handling and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to build relationships at varying levels.
  • Strong working knowledge of the FCA handbook, including MCOB regulations.

Please note that you will initially be required to work in their London office 4 days a week, which then drops down to 3 days upon completion of a successful probation period.
