Oliver James are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Compliance Officer/ Company Secretary for our esteemed client in the insurance industry. You will be London based, on a hybrid basis. This role will report directly into the Senior Compliance Manager, where you will be supporting the wider compliance team.

This role enables you to gain exposure and take on new challenges in a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Senior Compliance Manager.
  • Providing advisory to the business on regulatory compliance matters.
  • Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures to promote best practices within the company.
  • Taking lead on regulatory reporting and returns.
  • Performing administrative tasks related to compliance, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating with different stakeholders.
  • Managing and creating committee packs and scheduling board meetings.
  • Ensuring documentation is up to date.
