About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Change Manager to join a leading bank in London for a transformative project focused on Consumer Duty. This critical initiative will commence in early 2025 and aims to ensure the bank remains at the forefront of regulatory compliance while delivering outstanding outcomes for its customers.

As a Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of Consumer Duty requirements including the embedding of the regulation into corporate strategy and culture with a focus on engaging with stakeholders to promote risk-averse and protective policies within the bank. The incumbent will also oversee change initiatives across key business functions, ensuring a seamless integration with ongoing compliance efforts. This is a chance to contribute to a high-impact project within the banking sector while working with a collaborative, results-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end change management process for Consumer Duty-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and deliver the project scope, objectives, and milestones.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards, with a focus on Consumer Duty.
  • Develop and execute robust change management plans, including stakeholder communication, training, and process updates.
  • Identify risks and challenges associated with change initiatives and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to project sponsors and steering committees.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Change Manager within the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of Consumer Duty regulations and their application within financial services.
  • Expertise in Compliance or Regulatory Compliance, with a track record of managing related projects.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
