Corporate Social Responsibility Manager - 18 month FTC

James George Recruitment have partnered with a globally respected asset finance firm in their search for a CSR Manager. This role will be offered on an 18 month FTC as will be covering maternity. The role can be offered on a full time basis or 3-4 days per week where your salary would be pro-rata’d. You will be required to attend their office 2 days per week.

You will give strong direction and purpose to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda of this prestigious Asset Finance House. This will involve creating and developing existing strategies that promote sustainable values, ethics and governance across their business. The two main parts of this role are managing both the internal CSR initiatives to ensure maximum employee engagement, alongside the Environment and Social Governance (ESG) commitment and business priority.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing the ESG plan roadmap and deliverables, specifically the Carbon Reduction Action Plan and ESG platform reporting (currently Ecovadis)
  • Be the main point of contact with the regulator and different leasing association on ESG topics
  • Prepare ad hoc regular communication and reporting for the internal and external Boards and Committees
  • Support the business priority for diversity and inclusion in order to deliver the Vision with clear milestones and KPIs
  • Direct and animate the UK CSR committees to help achieve the business goals
  • Represent the company on all CSR subjects both internally and externally with CSR partner organisations
  • To recognise and reward individuals and teams for their CSR contribution and create a sense of shared pride in our collective accomplishments,
  • Co-ordinate fund-raising activity in support their chosen charities
  • Promote active participation in volunteering opportunities
  • Raise employees’ awareness of climate change and promote activities in support of all environmental initiatives to help address climate change
  • Collating and reporting on key impact data for the office to highlight the impact on the local community
  • Support HR with the DEI strategy

Requirements:

- Previous CSR and ESG experience within a corporate environment

- Project Management Skills

- Change Management Experience

- Strong and communicative presentation style

- Competent in balancing strategic direction with being transactional and delivering

- Influencing skills to gain support by persuading and convincing others at all levels of the organisation
