Department General Manager – Business Intelligence West End (HYBRID) £130,000 - £180,000+ CAR ALLOWANCE THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading trading company who are seeking a Department General Manager to join their Business Intelligence department on a permanent basis. THE ROLE:
  • Monitor, research and analyse economic and political events and trends, including foreign affairs, within the EU and wider Europe region
  • Develop and coordinate an information network with external entities such as universities and governmental institutions and embassies
  • Attend external seminars and visit countries throughout Europe and beyond to collect information and extend the company network
  • Share intelligence regarding economic and political events
THE PERSON:
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, managing a team of people, having previously conducted appraisals, managing operational work and budgeting
  • Fluent English and Japanese is required
  • Significant experience working at a Senior level in a think-tank or research department, in a global industrial or financial institution
  • A Master’s Degree or above in Economics or International related field
  • Experience writing analytical research reports
  • Able to travel regularly and engage with a wide range of business stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation skills
