About the role:

The Global Regulatory Compliance Officer/Manager will be responsible for cosmetic product registrations, screen products to make sure that we are up-to-date on all regulations, along with formula and raw material data. The position will work with cross functional partners in all parts of product and effectively project manage staying ahead of the curve.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Prepare and submit cosmetic and OTC drug product registration documentation as needed
  • Screen and manage ingredient and product/formula data
  • Evaluate formulas for compliance and safety
  • Review and compile data for reporting
  • Maintain relationship with vendors and CMs as it pertains to regulatory
  • Manage samples for safety and clinical studies
  • Review copy and artwork to ensure that they are aligned with approvable and legal claims
  • Help problem solve on pd projects

Qualifications, relevant skills & attributes:

  • Relevant education and/or experience in cosmetic industry with demonstrated knowledge of global regulations and resources in staying on top of them
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a high attention to detail with the ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects through strong prioritization and time management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written at conveying information in a clear, focus and concise manner
  • Proficient in MS Office - Outlook 365, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.
  • Good typing and proofreading skills
  • Must have ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers to facilitate effective communication of project needs.
  • Must demonstrate pro-active approach in problem-solving with proposal for smart solutions
  • Must be proficient at conveying information in a clear, focus and concise manner
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
