Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for fostering growth, building relationships, and driving strategic initiatives? We’re looking for a visionary Head of Membership - EMEA who can spearhead our client’s mission, enhance their business development efforts, and champion the association’s presence in the region

 

The Role of Head of Membership – EMEA

 

Lead a Regional Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the EMEA region, identifying growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and member engagement priorities.

 

Drive Business Development: Oversee a portfolio of approximately $3 million in revenue with an annual growth target of 9%. Expand and nurture an account base of around 100 corporate members, cultivating new relationships and renewing existing memberships.

 

Engage and Inspire: Representing the association on stage and in public forums, and energising stakeholders with compelling presentations.

 

Collaborate and Manage Teams: Lead a remote international team of 3 that includes a Business Operations Manager, Strategic Alliances Director, and Sub-Regional Leads, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.

 

Support Members: Provide tailored support to members, ensuring they receive the latest learning and development solutions, research, insights and other member benefits.

 

Partner and Innovate: Develop regional relationships with vendors, innovators, and partners, while contributing to global initiatives as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team.

 

Person Specification

 

Proven business development experience, ideally in the not-for-profit or membership sector.

Strategic thinking and an innovative approach to drive growth and enhance member value.

Exceptional communication, public speaking and engagement skills to captivate audiences and inspire action.

PR and marketing expertise to effectively promote and communicate our mission.

Knowledge of commercial and contract management or a willingness to become well-versed in the field.

Excellent organisational skills, adaptability and flexibility are essential for this role which will involve engagement with Team Members globally (from Australia to Argentina) and extensive travel opportunities.

Ability to use Microsoft Office products at an advanced or intermediate level, knowledge of the marketing tool, HubSpot, is also desirable.

Foreign languages desirable
