- Provide regulatory advice on a wide range of areas, including licensing and compliance with industry standards.
- Attend Governance meetings with third parties and assist in building strong regulatory relationships.
- Collaborate with the business to implement effective compliance processes and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Ensure compliance through operational oversight, such as verifying business activities are conducted where appropriately licensed.
- Conduct regulatory horizon scanning and provide summaries for management discussion.
- Maintain business timetables to ensure regulatory reporting deadlines are met.
- Assist with KYC queries from third parties and support the Compliance Monitoring Team where needed.
- Play an integral role in delivering the 2025 Compliance Plan.
- Proven experience working in Compliance within the insurance or intermediary sectors, ideally in the London Market.
- Strong knowledge of FCA rulebooks and UK insurance regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Lloyd’s (Desirable) and the regulatory landscape in Ireland (Desirable).
