Experienced Compliance Generalist (London Market)Are you an experienced Compliance professional looking to take on a new challenge in 2025? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Generalist to join a dynamic Compliance Team in support of new projects anticipated in Q1 2025.As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in advising the business on regulatory and licensing matters, while providing practical solutions for ensuring compliance across various areas. This role offers autonomy, as you’ll be expected to work independently and engage with key stakeholders to drive results.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide regulatory advice on a wide range of areas, including licensing and compliance with industry standards.
  • Attend Governance meetings with third parties and assist in building strong regulatory relationships.
  • Collaborate with the business to implement effective compliance processes and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Ensure compliance through operational oversight, such as verifying business activities are conducted where appropriately licensed.
  • Conduct regulatory horizon scanning and provide summaries for management discussion.
  • Maintain business timetables to ensure regulatory reporting deadlines are met.
  • Assist with KYC queries from third parties and support the Compliance Monitoring Team where needed.
  • Play an integral role in delivering the 2025 Compliance Plan.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience working in Compliance within the insurance or intermediary sectors, ideally in the London Market.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA rulebooks and UK insurance regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Lloyd’s (Desirable) and the regulatory landscape in Ireland (Desirable).
