Description
The Interim Governance Manager will be part of a small corporate governance team in the HQ in London. They will be responsible for:
- Ensuring corporate governance and charity governance regulations are met
- Coordinating governance activities and processes
- Assisting in the development and implementation of governance frameworks
- Assisting with the meeting cycle including board support, minuting, preparing meeting packs and action points.
- Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment
- Preparing corporate governance reports for senior management
Profile
A successful Interim Governance Manager should have:
- A strong experience of corporate governance within charity and compliance regulations
- Previous experience in a similar role within a charity is essential as the team is very small
- Ideally working towards CGI qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
