As part of the Policy and Standards team this newly created role would suit a graduate (or equivalent) who has extensive experience gained within a professional body, or similar, and who has good experience of working with committees. The purpose of the role is to lead, manage and contribute to the UK and international policy developments which impact on our clients interests. The duties of this role include:

  • relationship management with international partners
  • keeping up to date with both international and UK policy developments
  • critically evaluating evidence
  • developing subject matter expertise and acting as the main point of contact
  • managing and coordinating policy engagement activities
  • developing, managing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and partner organisations
  • developing and managing international and external affairs, work plans, project proposals
  • line management

  • ability to research and absorb complex information
  • evaluate relevancies
  • produce documents for various audiences
  • interact and communicate professionally and confidently with a wide range of people
  • experience of working with international partner organisations
  • experience of close interactions with committees
  • ability to think strategically and develop policies and plans
