MLC Partners is excited to partner with a prestigious London-based university to recruit a Planning & Performance Manager. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead the development and enhancement of information quality, reporting, and planning processes across the institution. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders to drive transparency, data quality, and strategic performance initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading information provision for planning and reporting, collaborating with teams to consolidate data from various sources into clear reports and actionable insights.
  • Developing and enhancing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both internal and external use.
  • Overseeing performance reporting, ensuring timely and accurate reports are delivered across the department.
  • Managing all operational planning and performance tracking processes, working closely with leadership and finance teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Contributing to the department’s internal planning strategy by maintaining and communicating key information.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills, capable of transforming raw data into clear, meaningful reports.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of finance, with part-qualification being an advantage but not essential.
  • A collaborative and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work tactically and sensitively with different teams.
  • Experience with dashboards, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 is beneficial but not essential.
  • Prior experience in the charity or fundraising sector is desirable but not essential
