Job Title: Programmatic Director

Location: Flexible with 10 in-office days per month (self-scheduled)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Programmatic Director to lead and build a new team from the ground up, focused on delivering innovative, data-driven programmatic solutions. You will be responsible for strategy development, execution, and optimisation of programmatic campaigns while fostering a culture of collaboration and growth within the team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the programmatic function at our company.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing programmatic team.
  • Establish team goals, processes, and workflows to ensure efficiency and alignment.

Strategic Development:

  • Develop and implement the programmatic strategy across multiple channels (display, video, CTV, social, etc.).
  • Identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Campaign Oversight:

  • Manage the end-to-end programmatic process, from planning to execution and optimization.
  • Ensure campaigns meet KPIs, budgets, and deliver measurable ROI for clients/stakeholders.

Technology & Innovation:

  • Evaluate and onboard new programmatic tools, platforms, and vendors.
  • Oversee the integration of advanced data solutions and audience targeting strategies.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Develop detailed reports and dashboards for tracking performance metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights based on campaign data to drive continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in programmatic media with a strong background in strategy, buying, and optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of DSPs, ad servers, DMPs, and other ad tech platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation in digital advertising.
