Anderson Knight has a fantastic new opportuniuty for a Management Consultant supporting our client who are a leading Renewable Energy Business who are proud to be playing a critical role in the net zero transitionas we aim to more than treble the net capacity and grow renewable energy output five-fold to over the next 10 years.
Base Location: London (preferred)
Working Pattern: Interim or Fixed Term | Full Time | Hybrid and Flexible working options availableon a fixed term / interim basis.

- Design approach to consolidating our existing position and growing in the priority European markets.
The role reports to the Director of Onshore Wind, Solar, and Battery for Europe who has P&L responsibility for the origination, development, construction, and operation of our European assets and management of teams currently based in Spain, Italy, France, Greece and Poland, as well as any new operations in the region.
Your Duties will include:
- Defining what good looks like for the clientin each of its priority markets
- Outlining different approaches to delivering these outcomes
- Advising on how the business can scale up in these markets (where appropriate)
- Providing input into organisational design to drive successful pipeline conversion and operational performance.
- Identifying opportunities which can support net zero targets whilst creating shareholder value, and advising on the criteria for quantitative and qualitative assessment of such opportunities.
About you
- Background in strategy management consulting, or similar role in international corporates.
- Deep understanding of the renewables industry within European markets, including an understanding of wind, solar and battery technologies. Experience of early-stage project development and navigating land, consents and routes to market is particularly beneficial.
- Experience of working in or supporting high value, complex capital projects including deep understanding of the commercial value drivers and financing options.
- Experience of change programmes and business expansion into new markets and geographies.
