Regulatory Compliance Manager

Purpose of the Job

Support and enhance compliance across all regulatory, financial, and operational systems within the Bank, focusing on AML, financial crime, and regulatory standards.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Engage with all business lines to review compliance of internal and external documents.
  • Liaise with third-party legal advisors and consultants.
  • Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including the Compliance Manual.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory issues and ensure best practices in compliance.
  • Annually update the Compliance Monitoring Plan in line with current regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update policies accordingly.

Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in compliance within the financial sector, preferably in wholesale banking or trade finance.
  • Expertise in policy development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory laws and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Law degree required.
  • Professional qualifications such as Securities Institutes Diploma in Regulation & Compliance or Anti-money Laundering Diploma preferred.
