Sterling Williams have a new role, working for a financial institution based in the West End - (London). We are seeking a Compliance Officer with at least 3 years experience within compliance monitoring reviews, AML,Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

? Support the team with compliance monitoring reviews

? Assist with the completion of regulatory reports,

? Assist with the internal processes relating to breaches and gifts and hospitality .

? Assist with customer complaints handling.

? Assist in collating information/MI for submissions to London committees, Head Office and the UK regulators etc.

? Provide administrative support, creating, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures

.?Assist with the preparation of training material and other presentations as required

ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

? Regulatory Compliance/Financial Crime certificates or Diplomas are preferred

? At least 2-3 years’ experience in a UK environment within the banking sector

? Comfortable with the FCA Handbook and with FCA principles and rules. .

? Should be comfortable with communicating with different level stakeholders

?Should be able work with minimal supervision.

? Analytical mind and methodological and a mechanical focus
