The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and experience in managing compliance programmes. This role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and monitoring of regulatory compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions. You will play a key role in guiding the organisation to mitigate compliance risks and maintain operational integrity.Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Programme Management:
Lead and manage the overall regulatory compliance programme for the organisation, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations.Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate closely with legal, risk management, operations, and other business units to identify and mitigate compliance risks.Act as the primary point of contact for all regulatory compliance-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of compliance requirements across the organisation.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting:
Design and conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with regulatory standards.Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and relevant authorities, highlighting risks, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions.Track key compliance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks, ensuring the organisation is proactive in addressing potential regulatory issues.Lead the development and execution of action plans to address any gaps in compliance or regulatory processes.
  • Regulatory Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and other relevant external stakeholders.Ensure timely submission of required reports and filings with regulatory authorities.
  • Compliance Culture:
Foster a culture of compliance throughout the organisation, ensuring all employees understand and adhere to compliance policies and standards.Drive a proactive approach to compliance across the business and encourage ethical decision-making at all levels.Skills & Experience:
  • 5+years of experience
  • Preferred experience with platforms, must have experience in compliance projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex regulatory issues
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams to achieve compliance objectives
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory issues clearly to senior management and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to track compliance metrics and deliver timely reports
  • Ability to navigate regulatory landscapes and provide strategic guidance to leadership
