Revenue Protection Strategy & Policy Manager

Join a dynamic and innovative transport business committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving revenue growth. We are looking for an experienced and results-driven individual to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive revenue protection strategy, ensuring the business remains at the forefront of industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive revenue protection strategy and policy to support revenue growth objectives.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of a cost-effective prosecution policy that aligns with business goals.
  • Drive innovation and best practices to address fare evasion and evolving risk profiles.
  • Analyze key market intelligence to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and continuously improve operations.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Protection & Events Manager to optimize resource deployment based on risk and return on investment.
  • Own and deliver the Quality Target Management (QTM) for Revenue Protection, ensuring targets and obligations are met.
  • Lead internal and external communications strategies in collaboration with marketing and communications teams.
  • Represent the organisation at industry forums to gain insights on policy, best practices, and innovation opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the operational elements of the strategy, ensuring effective deployment and performance.

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience in revenue protection within the rail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Retail experience in the rail industry (retail experience outside of rail is desirable). E.g. Ticketing and Fare Management, Customer Service, Revenue Management, Sales Operations, Retail Technology and Innovation, Compliance and Regulation, Promotions and Marketing, Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Excellent communication skills to a senior level
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships internally and externally.
  • Target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Experience in benchmarking performance and implementing innovative solutions.
